Idol Pride Causes Big Downslides

Let me get this off my chest
A sign of the times, I think it's best.
Here's for you, you know who you are
Kind of lit up like a star.
I think of you at a full moon
I think, too, of humans who swoon
And hang on your words, what you say,
Too much, too much, to guide their way.

Do listen.
And read.
They're calling you gods and prophets
False religion prints your flattery.
Do like Paul and Barnabas
Tell the crowd not to worship you
Say to obey the Bible
And point to the God that's true!

Learn some more from Bible men
The kind of people God calls his friends
Take some time to make amends,
Serve your Maker right, as this system ends.

There's Daniel and Nehemiah
They asked help from kings too.
But they didn't mix in false religion
So to Jah they stayed TRUE.
No, they never would bow to idols
Or ever kiss a false priest's hand
They did not yield to opposition
Instead they kept God's commands.
(And they spoke of them, boldly.)

The faithful ones, the happy ones
Of the prophet Isaiah's day
Didn't follow the masses,
But put their trust in Yahweh.
They stayed loyal to God
Who formed their spiritual nation
And didn't seek political powers
For their hope and salvation.
(Like Christendom now, you see,
In all its spiritual adultery.)

False worshipers who put trust in men
Met with readable disasters
And false Christians backing Satan's world today
Will come to their end pretty fast here....
