The Unholy Sea

Humans bob and float by billions
At the mercy of their waves of red.
Drowning, dying, laughing, crying
Lies submerging life out of their heads.

But who sees the undertow
Moving how the masses go
Who'll climb out of love so cold
From the sea of man?

With rocking motion, many sleep
In apathy, drift as dead.
Waters churn beneath dark skies
Men ignore the sure light ahead.

And who sees the undertow
Swirling how the masses go
Who'll climb out of love so cold
From the sea of man?

In rolls the storm from another place
From lightening you must do more than to hide your face
In flashes see that what's around's a big disgrace.
And God is mad
At the sea of man.

From the sea false prophets rise
'Try to teach masses how to swim.
Saying "Stay out here, we'll all tread in peace
Don't trust God's plan to bring us in."

But who sees Jehovah's boat
He would help you climb his rope
Braids with truth, love, spirit, hope
To leave the sea of man.
