Understanding

There's a person called the Devil
That knows the Scriptures well
He used them to taunt Jesus
Like some do to others, can you tell?

So it's not just a matter of quoting,
Yet never getting the sense
For selfish ones fighting God in heart
The thoughts will stay too dense.

But for those TRULY seeking
God's will ABOVE THEIR OWN
He will grant understanding
He will show them home.
