All These Hands Can Do

To live forever, that is what
We were designed to do
Not just learn for 80 years
And then have life be through.

Skills and wisdom that we gain
Need not disappear
Even if we die; we can get them back
When God resurrects people here.

Did someone you know play guitar?
They might love the surprise
To wake and find there's endless time
For songs in paradise.

All these hands can do
All these lips can say
Will only just get better
In the forever days.
