If It's What They Want

Hard to believe, the hostile,
Deep in their own little world
Playing that they're god
Of an unreality.

Not able to see the sky
How bigger things apply
What they owe the God on High
They think shallowly.

In a panic, they silence and ban
Claim urgent words are out of hand
'Cause they don't want to understand
Or try.

Someone's pointed to the Guide,
Said its needed to survive -
Obey God, shun the lies
Of Satan's fallacies.

But many love what's bad
And they don't want to have
Anyone around
Saying they're wrong.

So as truth leaves the room
Let them have their gloom
As they await their doom,
Callously.
