Reminder Moon (Nisan 14, 2009)

Reminder-moon
Shines off the lake
Like the pearl
I hold inside
Shimmers and glows
With the sun
A warm reassurance
Is mine.

Reminder-moon
Climbs through the night
Casts about palest light
Ov'r grass and inside
Like the world now abides
In a dim state of things
Needing bright.

Two mornings later,
Surprise!
A pink orb
In western sky
A dawn sight of joy
Race forward, ahoy!
The reminder-moon says
"Paradise!"
