"With Him There is Not a Variation of the Turning of a Shadow" *

Soon the Father of celestial lights *
Will make things good again
To prepare earth for that Day
Jah has His servants 
Speak His words
Of truth and warnings
To their fellow man.

Solar eclipse, I hope not to miss
A once-in-every-long-time-event.
But wouldn't it be nice,
If when men looked at the skies
They opened up their eyes
& humbled themselves, & thanked
The One who gave them life. 

* "Every good gift and every perfect present is from above, for it comes down from the Father of the [celestial] lights, and with him there is not a variation of the turning of the shadow"

Watching Gentle Rain Come Over the Trees

Everything You make is good
Not so, with many plans of man
"Every good gift" comes from You *
But men pay you back with insolence.

And how much does it take, really
To figure out - 
That there truly is no excuse
For people to not listen,
But to blame you -
For the bad and foolish things THEY do.

Yes I know, this world is filled with lies
And propaganda fills the air
Appealing to false pride and wrong desires
Satan's slander of You is everywhere.

But look - there is NO EXCUSE **
Your words that You gave mankind are here
For any to reach out for, as built-in
Surrounded by the powerful works
of Your own Creation.
