Lie Excuse

I'll never forget that day
I was shaking on the phone
In grief and anger begging
How could you leave her alone....

I said, "Have you no sense of God,
Of conscience, or of heart?
He said her religion was a social club
And he didn't want to have a part.

Low and cold, he said his spiritual goal
Was to seek his own happiness
I asked him how that was good or right

Trusting in Jah's righteousness

War of Words

People think that words don't really matter
Just a push or a shove or a gun
But words of truth or lies have vital power
Life or death can flow out from our tongues.

What you say now indicates your future
What you tell, if you help to save
Sing lies or selfish, wrong desires
Might lead someone to a forever grave.

A war of words is fought like never before

Thoughts of lies can become poison arrows

Might backstab, manipulate, and poke doubts

Humans bob and float by billions
